A little about myself and Byte IT
Long before Byte IT was a thought, I was on a computer. My journey started in 1977 with the Tandy TRS80, and from that point on, I was hooked.
Shortly after the release of the IBM 8086, my father opened a computer service and repair shop. With the dawning of the age of the PC, so too dawned my extreme enthusiasm.
After years of working for companies like Compaq (Now HP), Cisco Systems, and others. Let’s just say I was dissatisfied with how most of these organizations were run, so I formed Byte IT, after the role I most loved, had us train 3 of 4 countries, then gave them our jobs.
I ended up going back to the corporate world, only to experience more mismanagement, and a mass layoff.
With 47 years hands on PCs, networks, and various sub-technologies, I thought it was time to share my insights.
